So, after all, do you like your Windows Phone?

I really really like WP and at this moment wouldn't trade it for any other phone. As much crap as I talk about Android, I finally ordered my first Android Tablet last night at a buck 30. I previously owned a Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD. I've thought about iPads and iPods but not iPhone. I just LOVE 'em Tiles and since I'm mostly on MS bandwagon, it suits me better than any other platform. Everything is just well integrated for me...music, docs, calendar, etc. Music is what I LOVE the most and WP provides me the best experience for that. If I'm listening to something on the radio, I can just bring up "search" and it will find the song. Next time I open up "Music" it will appear on my "recently found songs" and I can just add 'em to my collection.

I got a 920 the week of initial release and I hated it. But that was because I had a faulty unit. I exchanged it for an HTC 8X which I disliked, and so exchanged that for an 820 and I loved it. But I'm fickle when it comes to cellphones, and I switched to an iPhone for a while. Then I went to a 520, then to a different 920, then back to an iPhone, now I'm back on a different 820 with Developer Preview 8.1.

I'm a huge fan of Windows Phone and every Nokia Lumia phone I've owned which ran it (except for the very first one) has been a quality piece of equipment. I've never had the random restarts or sudden battery drain which plagued some people, nor do I suffer from missing apps... that's not to say that battery drain/random restarts/the "app gap" don't exist, only that I've been fortunate enough to have not been affected by any of them. The comments above about the 820 being bad on battery is also something I've not experienced; the 820s I've owned have been better than the 920s I've owned for battery life and on-par with my iPhones (although the 8.1 preview has been heavier on the battery than was GDR3/Black).

So yeah, I like my Windows Phone. After all.
