So GDR3 is a Preview or not?

Im hearing its a final update. If indeed is not a preview I am considering updating.

Its still a preview in that it doesn't have the firmware updates that come with the official update offered by your carrier. Other than that it is as close as you can get to the final version.

I'm not convinced to update then as I don't wanna void my warranty and get bugs. Although people make it sound very convincing.
