So how do I know when my Surface 3 is fully charged?

I unboxed and setup my shiny new Surface 3, last night. Then I shut it down properly, and put it on charge. This was at 7:30PM. At 12:30am, the light on the charging cable was still on. So, I switched it on and, as I expected by then, the charge was showing 100%. I see no other indicator light on the Surface itself.

The led light on the cable will always be on whenever it is plugged in to the device. You'll just have to access the battery indicator icon on screen or from settings to check battery percentage.
