i installed it and it said something like Win10 technical preview doesnt work on "compressed windows."​ Thats the first for me.

Will they make it compatible when W10 comes out?

Download the iso and boot from a usb drive. Also copy all your drivers on there before you do it.

I think that could work, might as well try it. Worst case it just wont boot from the card and nothing will change.

Compressed windows actually means WIMBoot. In short, windows boots from compressed files located on a separate partition on your device to save space. all the info is here (technical info) https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/dn594399.aspx

I've got a hp pavilion x2 with the same thing, if you really want to try out the TP, you can do a clean install (wipe everything). I believe that when the final version is released, it will be compatible with our devices. Fingers crossed
