It said they are about to begin a media blitz. They didn't say it had already begun. If you start it too soon people will become annoyed with it before the products launch.

The whole idea of this media blitz was MSFT spending $1.5 Billion BEFORE 26th and 29th October. That is why this so called media blitz is so anticipated and I'm curious to know what build up it will create. Of course after 26th there will be plenty of marketing anyway. More so by the news sources and media - as Windows is reimagined so they will leave no chance to start talking about Vista and how skeptical they are - typical!
