SO, you got GDR2...Did you get a FM radio ?

We got GDR2 on the Lumia 928 yesterday, There is no FM radio on it. According to past posts from Nokia only 1 phone (501/601 ?) did not support FM radio. I confirmed this when talking to someone at Nokia that the 928 supported it. Never mind I saw images on a site where someone pulled the phone apart and it has the chipset for FM radio. Microsoft says it's part of the update.

I have a feeling that this is something that Verizon did so you would use more data, it smells like a class action lawsuit if you ask me...

So, did you get GDR2 and did you get a FM radio ? What model/Carrier phone do you have?

Same as you. Verizon Lumia 928 with no FM. Wonder if the Verizon 8X and Lumia 822 will have it.

Maybe you have to factory reset it, just like for Data Sense

I updated my T-Mobile 810 to GDR2/Amber yesterday afternoon... No FM Radio here. Maybe my unlocked Rogers 920 will get it once the updates hit it.

I have a Lumia 520 from AT&T, and FM radio worked out of the package. No Data Sense, though.

It was the 620 that does not have the hardware for the FM radio according to Nokia, Is this just carriers blocking this feature ?

I have an unlocked NL820 (Germany) and for me both Data Sense and FM radio is available, but I flashed the ROM manually almost two weeks ago ;-) Both is working perfectly

I updated my L920 last night (in Sweden) and I got DataSense but I can't find the FM radio. Is there an app or something that I need to download or do you have to activate it somehow?

It's supposed to be in the Music/Video app. I haven't seen it either with my L810.

AT&T HTC 8x updated last night and it has radio but no data sense. Radio is inside the music player, not separate app.
