With 8.1 you don't really need it. Didn't even notice it was gone.

Maybe phones with SD cards have it, phones without, don't.

My lumia 920 doesn't have it

Wow I never noticed it was even gone till now. Phone has an SD card btw.
Storage sense works so much better anyway, Microsoft mobile probably didn't want two apps that did the same thing
