Some questions

First off I am new to windows phones but as a developer I had access to 8.1 so I got it instantly first off I love the phone not really had any issues just fit some questions...

1) my battery life only lasts a day max I wake up at 7 about 5 its 20-30% this is fine its just people said their battery lasts 3 days ? Is this a 8.1 issue maybe because its a beta ??

2) I do not have cortana and I'm from the UK do I need to wait until official release ?

Absolutely loving the phone so far they was my questions...

2- Probably YES, if then - though you could change ALL your settings to US (turn off location) & you may be able to get her

If you turn off location Cortana wont work buddy

That's correct. No location services= no Cortana.
