Some Videos stuttering in Lumia 520

Since updating to WP 8.1 some videos even 3GP videos of resolutions like 176*144, 320*240 are not playing well. Full HD videos are not playing well too. Sometimes they give an error too. Do not remember the error code it showed. Strangely enough, HD videos play like a charm. I don't know what to make of this.
