So yesterday, I restarted my phone because it was getting a bit slow, but after the reset, I tried to go to YouTube and some videos said "sorry, we can't play this file on your phone". I tried watching the same videos before I reset the phone, and I can't watch them. The only videos that work on YouTube are the ones with the red HQ button on the bottom left. I really don't know what to do so I really need help.

thanks,
Jerry Aizp.

I think that YouTube have changed something with the way that videos are streamed. I had a note pop up in MetroTube a day or so ago telling me that a new version was passing through certification in order to cope with this change. Sure enough, the update allowed me to view videos again.

Try MetroTube, see if it lets you watch videos.

Probably Google trying to screw with us again. lol

Sometimes I'll get this error while I'm in the middle of watching a video! Like I'll be halfway through, and then all of the sudden I get this error and it stops playing. Then I have to start the video over from the beginning and pray that it doesn't happen again.

You don't have to buy it, it has an unlimited and unrestricted trial version.

You can pay for the app if you wish to support the developer, but you're not forced into it.

The app description says "Unlimited & restricted free trial," so I don't believe that you need to buy it in order to use it. It's nice to be able to support the dev, but if you don't have the money then you don't have the money. However, if you find that you have the money in the future, you should consider buying it to reward the dev(s) for his/her/their hard work! :)
