SP3 Type Cover not working after 10525 upgrade

I can login with the keyboard fine, but once im in its totally unresponsive.

Have you gone to the device manager and removed it then allowed it to reinstall the driver?

Now I go to check my desktop and my desktop keyboard isn't working either. This cannot be a coincidence. That last update broke something. Same instance with both devices: The keyboard works at the login screen and let's me type my password and then once I'm logged in it stops working. I'm literally stuck with either using my surface in tablet mode or my phone. My desktop is a paper weight.

Yup. Touchpad works on surface, and trackpad works on desktop keyboard but the keys don't work. This happened to them both after the latest update

The update seemed to have turned filter keys on. I had to go into the ease of access settings and turn off filter keys on both my desktop and surface and now both keyboards work fine.

Mines working after the firmware update installed. It was labeled 7/23(?) and I'm pretty sure I already had that one installed but windows update didn't agree with me.
