I have ringer volume on 25. I work on AC's so it can be a little loud.
Prob is that when I open up the phone function and start dialing a number, the keypad volume is at, like, the speakerphone volume
And ridiculously loud. Is this a glitch or normal? My keyboard button tap sounds are fine as far as volume, but the phone number key tone is just obnoxiously loud.
Any tips?

I think this is normal, so the only "fix" is unfortunately to lower the volume when dialing...

You could disable the key sound all together. Settings - System - Ringtones + Sounds and untoggle Play a sound for Key press.

I am really rooting for WP...
It just seems like sooooo many things that should be standard are MIA.
I.e. Loading custom text/messaging tones different volume levels for different phone functions,
I like the idea of tiles, but Microsoft isn't even utilizing their most unique overlay feature. The tiles are so plain.
And no background picture. Hopefully they start pumping out some updates or WP will always be the "ugly child"
Of the O-S's.
