Speaking of 920 colors. A different question.

I came upon a youtube video of the disassembly of a 900 and it looked rather simple. If the 920 is equally as simple... My question is do you think there will be a way to purchase 920 "bodies" of different colors to switch out your original?

Doubt it, otherwise they'd have announced it like they have with the 820.

That would be awesome. I love the 920's design but would love to change shells like the 820.

It may be possible, but it will be an advanced feature that will no doubt void the warranty, since it will involve fully disassembling the phone.

It's funny you mention this, I had this exact thought yesterday and watched the 900 dissasembly video too thinking the same thing. And since Rogers sells it in black I was wondering how or if it would be worth the time and effort to dissasemble the L920 in black, purchase the shell for another color (which would be fairly cheap on eBay) and then reassemble all the parts back into a different color shell.

Not an easy job and highly risky too.. But I feel it's possible. Much respect to anyone that successfully pulls this off and it could inspire me to do the same.

Since it does not look like the US is getting a gray 920 I'd give it a shot if I could get my hands on a gray shell.

I did it with my 900. I would like to do gray also.
