Sprint backing off?

I agree. Sprint already had enough trouble when it bought another network with incompatible technology (Nextel--iDEN) and then shut it down. It doesn't need to go through that trouble again.

I read an article about this yesterday on BGR.com. Great news indeed. I mean, does it really make sense to acquire a company that's actually stealing away your customers? Those same customers and those who were already longtime T-Mobile customers (such as myself) would flock if Sprint were to buy T-Mo. Not to mention the fact that T-Mobile is doing really well right now and definitely ahead of Sprint at this point.

I guess the only reason why I was hoping for this deal to go through was the fact that I might finally be able to get my hands on a Nokia windows phone without switching carriers. I love my 8XT but dahd gummit, I want a Nokia.
