Sprint HTC 8XT on 8.1.1

I just successfully updated my 8XT to 8.1.1.

Seems stable enough in my short time with it.

Wi-Fi bug is still there...(I didn't expect that to be fixed, just an FYI.)

No, I was already on the 8.1 DP.

Our 3rd 8XT, which we purchased in June, will not find the update either....it would appear that Microsoft is still blocking CDMA phones on 8.0 from all of the Dev. Preview program that didn't take the DP immediately in April....

Very disappointing...and even moreso for my wife who's stuck on 8.0

It is very disappointing, I want 8.1 back on my replacement 8XT. Of course Sprint promised we would have the Official update Summer 2014, but summer is over and now rumor has it it is pushed back to November, and ofcourse Sprint gives the cookie cutter response we have no information on when the update will be available it is up to the manufacturer.

Got 8.1.1 on my Sprint HTC 8XT today. I was hoping some fix for Wi-Fi was implemented, as I assumed that's one reason DP support was pulled from this phone. Alas...

Using DP or did it actually show up? I saw an article last week saying it was officially out, but I have not seen it show up yet. Run the update check every day or so.

HTCUSA tweeted that the update is targeted for early December on 8.1
