stereo support

Does WP8/920 support stereo? I have tried apple earphones from my old iphone 4 and my bose headphones but the sound from xbox music only comes through 1 speaker. Does anyone else have this problem, I have looked for an option to change from mono to stereo.

It should be stereo, mine plays both channels, maybe it was plugged incorrectly? push it in more (no pun intended)

I have just tried plugging it in all the way (it usually clicks) and I tried plugging it in halfway but it still does not work, the right speaker doesn't activate but it works perfectly on my mac.

Hmm mine works just fine, you may want to try another set and reset your phone if with no success. The sound is quite impressive for me and you shouldn't miss it

I contacted nokia and they told me to refresh the hardware, which I did and it fixed the problem.
