Thinking of getting a 930, is it stil worth getting? I'm getting it unused and unlocked for $299. Would you guys say that's a fair price?

Of course its worth getting, its the current flagship and probably will remain so for the next couple months at the least, just as long as you know what you're getting.

Not a bad price too.

😃 fantastic price here.... I'm an android super user here and I'm so content with this phone! The battery yesterday lasted me from 7:30 am until midnight and I'm using it all day, as it is new! And I went to bed 🏨 at around 12:00!!!!!

The camera is awesome! So no complaints there... The UI is so fluid I can hardly believe it...

I originally saw this as a 2 week challenge... To use it for two weeks before retuning my android LG g3 with 3 GB of memory and 32 GB of storage...which cost me nearly 500 ?! The Nokia came in at a much better price and I'm so happy with it!

There will be another flagship phone soon so if you must have the best phone then wait. But it won't cost you 300 bucks! That's for damn sure!

Ah, a fellow G3 owner! I'm thinking of making the switch from G3 to 930 as well... But initially I will keep my G3 as my primary device due to the lack of banking apps. But if I feel I can live without the banking apps I think I'll make the switch permanent. I'm guessing I will miss Firefox and Adblock as well.

Would you say that the 930 feels noticeably smaller than the G3? I'm a pretty big guy (6'4") but I still find the G3 to be a little difficult using with just one hand.

I'll tell you this: I typed out messages this morning from bed, laying sideways, with one hand. I also find their swype or flow keyboard tech MUCH BETTER than Swiftkey to be honest! I NEVER thought I'd say that! I wish the autotext was a little bit more aggressive, since it knows a word is wrong but I have to click it through the top bar sometimes, but still.... very good.

Yes, I completely hear you! The lack of apps is there I guess. The apps I use most are:
Alarm company (present)
Shazam (present)
Google Music (present with CloudMuzik)
mSecure (present with beta testing going on)
Whatsapp (present)
Line (present)
Google Tasks (present, but I'm not a big fan of it. I'll try to find something else. I'm trying to move away from the Google ecosystem).

I mean, everything I want is there.... So... There was really no reason to keep the G3. I'm going to later post pictures or maybe I'll do my first video review of the differences between them before I send the G3 back. The lag on the G3 on Lollipop was killing me. It cost more, it has better specs, and it's still a laggy phone! I just want a phone that works! That's ALL I want! I don't want to say that the LG G3 isn't a good phone. I imagine that it's as good as it gets on most Android phones. I mean, it has near top tier specs! It has a better processor than the L930, higher res screen, more memory (in my variant at least), larger battery and a laser to help autofocus the camera. No one in any forum can say that it's a bad phone (which it isn't). But I don't know...

I've had so many Android phones. This is my smartphone history:
BB Pearl>BB 8800>BB 8300>Omnia>iPhone>BB Bold 9000>iPhone 3G>BB Storm>HTC Magic>Xperia X1>BB Storm2 9520>BB 9700>HTC Desire>iPhone 4 16GB>Dell Streak>BB 9800> Galaxy S2 >BB 9900> Milestone 2> Galaxy Note> Galaxy Note II > Xperia Z2 > Nokia Lumia 930 (white) > White LG G3 (3/32) > Lumia 930 (green) with Denim.

Microsoft OS is clearly doing things well. I find the OS to be more ... polished? But less... refined?

For example, the sharing options. I'm sure this is an app developer issue, because a lot of my apps on WP allow me to share directly to them from the gallery app, but not all of them. Meanwhile with Android 99% of my apps allowed it. I mean these are small things. I guess its the price we pay to have either a more open or more closed system. One of the biggest differences I've seen with the apps is that the android counterparts are updated more frequently. Now, I have no idea if this is due to the fact they are easier to program on android or if its because they have a larger team there but just the fact that windows phone is behind multiple versions is the only thing to keep your eye out for.

All I can say is that I'm very satisfied. I love the OS and how fluid it is. The home screen is just so useful. I like it more than a widget. But a widget has its good points. Ok. I'm done talking. Haha. I could go all day!

Enjoy your Saturday

Windows Phone handles mobile websites so well they are often an excellent way of accessing a service where an app doesn't exist. Visit a site and pin it to the start screen. I do this with Reddit and my mobile banking service. Just as good as the app would be. There is also a free app in the Windows Store called WebApps which contains many pre-packaged web apps.

Haven't missed my G3 at all!

Does Stumbleupon work on WP yet? Last time I checked, IE couldn't handle the site and they hadn't released an app.

Is anyone here running the 930 on AT&T?
Is the Speed difference really noticeable due to the lack of LTE for AT&T?

Thanks for your comments.

There are so many posts regarding this. And as I recall, all that are on AT&T with 930 get great HSPA+ speed that they don't really care for no LTE.

Thats a cheap price, i got mine new reget it some features iphone6 have but, i love my lumia coz it looks unique lol or at least thats how i see it.

I have a 920 where I run it on 3G. (H, H+) It used to be a choice, but since Cyan borked LTE, I don't have a choice.

It isn't a major issue, granted, I don't stream video or that sort of heavy stuff. Speed tests are OK by my standards (recently in my room it clocked 81 ms, 4.27 Mbps down, 1.72 up, which isn't bad IMHO.), and vary depending on location.
But I'm not missing LTE, some people do, but I personally don't.
