On the SurfaceForums, an industrious user has created a second version of his fan duct. Which, along with a CPU fan, improves air flow through the surface vents to improve cooling and limit the amount of CPU throttling. Sounds like this version 2 has throttling eliminated.
I know this will only have a niche use in the community, but I thought it interesting to share for those interested.
