The author of this thread hasn't been back for 2 days now. We now have 3 complaints about the thread:

I say leave it open the guys are having fun posting in there. The thread isn't even about the OP any more. We could also split the the good parts out to a new thread if you want. If we close it there will be an outcry. The girl who is offended needs to get a grip and the other one needs to read the thread. I have posted in there and explaining why it hasn't been merged or closed.

Thats my 2C for now but if it get out of hand you can do what ever you like I will support you as always.

I took just the "battered woman" comment out of the OP's post. The more I looked at it, the more I understood why shalgrim was offended. What his comment does is it trivializes battered women.
