Does the store on W10m show how many times the app has been downloaded?

That's a shame, i really like being able make my download decision on how much the app itself has been installed

Well, if it's a free or trial app, go for it anyway. One way to guess is by looking at the number of reviews. About 1 in a whole bunch of installs will get one.
