Store purchase limitations

When you buy something from the store you can use it on 5 devices but is that across platforms? So if I buy say Angry Birds Space on my Windows 8 laptop does this work on my Windows RT tablet and WP8 device? Or do I need to buy it three times?

If you buy it on Windows 8, it should work on other Windows 8 devices. If it's an RT app, it should work in laptops, desktops, and tablets.

Windows Phone doesn't use the same app, and requires a separate purchase.
