Stuck on Forza 5 main screen

It says to push the A button to start, nothing happens. I verified the A button works with everything else on the XBox, so I've got a buggy game. I did buy the digital version yesterday, but I wonder if that includes the Day 1 update? If not, how come Forza did not prompt me for an update?

Ive got the digital version but I have never had an issue like that try restarting the console or reinstall the game?

I would also try restarting the console first. These are so close to PCs and like 90% of PC problems can be fixed with a restart cycle You can do power down the console by holding the power button for like 5s or something. Especially if you use the "instant-on" mode, you're console rarely gets to power down properly.

Turned off console, turned on problem solved.
