So...

after a while it happens to me too... my band is falling apart :(

When I try to do the "Self Service" return and complain and choose physical damage it wants to charge me 108 $

But I think these damages arent caused by misuse but instead are because of poor quality (sadly)

Any one knows an email adress?
Living in germany.. so microsoft store is no solution and calling is hard to organize due to time issues (different time zones)

As with many companies these days, looks like MS refuse to guarantee 'physical damage'. This is the tactic often used by Lenovo. The question, of course, is what might be covered if not physical damage. One presumes only psychological or spiritual damage to your kit is now covered.

Claim it was damaged by divine wrath and you might fit the rules. Proof is traditionally difficult to aquire, however.

Where did you buy it?
If it was in UK you are protected by European consumer laws which are a lot stronger than the American counter types.
IF from UK, try this ( https://forums.windowscentral.com/e...crosoft-band%2Fen-us%2Fsupport&token=k8rFTutI , got the tip from this board)

If you bought it in he US and do not have any extra warranty (MS complete or whatever hey call it), I think the 108USD is the best option you have (if it includes all freights etc).

Good luck!

See if you can enter a chat session with someone on the Microsoft Store and explain the situation. You might well find that you then get routed into a warranty/exchange. The self-service might not know the difference between a quality issue and whether you stamped on it.
