Have anyone updated their Xbox Music app on Windows Phone 8.1 yet? WPCentral once covered it and it claimed it will released at the 22nd April, now its already 23rd of April (my local time zone) and still no update.
No, it didn't. Originally it clearly said "April 22nd". Then it was edited to "week of April 22nd". And guess what? Now they don't mention a date at all. Great job, Microsoft! The Microsoft post only said that it would be out the week of the 22nd.
They're never sorry. They just sweep it under the rug, like it never happened."Sorry, we ran out of time", I guess.

If only that app wasn't so crappy. I can't even use Nokia MixRadio, as that doesn't work on WP8.1.
When I try to open my library it just displays a black screen. Some people on Reddit report the same problem. Re-installing the app and even a hard reset did not solve the problem. That's on a Lumia 820 by the way. My music is stored on my SD card, maybe that's what's causing the trouble. As you own a Lumia 920, you have it on your phone.I have no issues with Nokia MixRadio on my 920 running WP8.1 Preview. What errors are you getting?

Usually I'd consider this a good thing, but given the fact that their previous app was pretty decent this is rather ridiculous. Why can't these people make something new that is at least as good as it's predecessor? They really can't. Windows 8, Xbox One, WP companion software (compared to Zune), just to name a few. That's not how you make progress. They also need to interview customers on uservoice to know which features a music app should have
Just take a look at the uservoice feedback. Most of that stuff is core functionality which should not have been missing in the first place. What were they expecting people to tell them? Live tile? Nah, don't need that. Gapless playback? Not important. Decent performance? Oh, come one.
There is no harm in taking suggestions from users but yes, they should know some basic features which are must in a music app. That's exactly what I meant and make me laugh. I can't believe MS needs, in 2014, suggestions for a music app!!!
