This is tax-free weekend at my state and icing on the cake for me is best buy and sams club are offering sale on surface 3. Best buy offers Surface 3 64gb at $450 and 128gb at $550 (only in store, not online though). Sams club is offering bundles at $539 (for 64gb) and $629 (for 128gb version) which were previously priced at $600 and $700.
Initially I planned to buy 64gb version but this sale convinced me to buy 128gb version. I chose best buy as I needed blue type cover (sams club offers only black and I wanted it right away but it was out of stock at sams in store) and I had 10% movers discount. Anyway, I ended up getting 128gb surface 3, blue type cover and pen for $654, tax free
Not sure how long this sale will last but a best buy employee has mentioned they will carry this at least until tomorrow (saturday). Btw, this is a super awesome hybrid device.
