Also, does the full USB port have enough to power an external USB drive like the SP3?
 
Did you go to the Microsoft product page and see what they say the specs are? It probably lists everything you need to know there.
 
Yes, I did. That's why I asked here. Because there is no information from the product page.

But I did chat with online CS. The answer to both questions is NO. I'm going to cancel my order from IT. Disappointing. I'll stick to the SP3.
 
Just to make a note of the above list, there is a surface 3 with 4gb of ram, 64gb of storage without keyboard and pen.
