So I bought a spares or repairs surface book with the reason being a faulty battery (swelling and bulging screen out). The surface book was working docked and undocked perfectly fine (touchscreen etc.).
I knew I would likely break the screen upon replacing battery - so bought both in preparation. Replacing was fine - screen is connected but not glued, because now - I have 2 issues:
Firstly - the SSD that was working fine is now not recognised. I reinstalled it in my desktop PC, but it doesn't recognise in the SB, which just boots to BIOS.
It's the NVME and recognises fine in my PC, but is there a reason it won't boot correctly in the Surface book?
I do have a 2nd issue with the touchscreen not working, but I'm hoping once the SSD recognises I can make sure drivers are up to date and fingers crossed screen should work.
Any help would be amazing!
Thanks, Zack
