surface pro 3 availability in

hello guys has anyone got an idea of the availability in Mexico? I went to bestbuy yesterday here but the staff had no clue, they told me that msft isnt really keen on Mexico. My old laptop has died after 5 years of service and I really want to give the surface a try, I can always go north of the border and buy one there but tbh it is fiscally more convinient to buy it here.

Yes I can, but then again I wouldn't be able to deduct tax for it, the surface 3 is not able in the Mexican microsoftstore and if I buy it from the US store the deduction does not apply.
So my only option is to wait but I want to have an idea of how long it will take, say if it is not coming till the end of the year I'd rather buy one this month and whatever with the tax deduction, but tbh nobody seems to have a clue of when this device will hit the Mexican market...

Clearly unless someone's got the inside scoop into Microsoft's release plans for your country you're not going to get an answer here, or elsewhere.

Doesn't one of the southern states have no state sales tax? I know further north, Oregon has no sales tax.

@RajeevT I know mate, that's kinda what I was expecting you see, or a broad idea of the availability in Latin America...
@rdubmu yes actually I can buy it there in Texas and pay no tax, the difference is that if I buy it here I can deduct the full $999 usd from my tax declaration. anyhow I think I'll get a lenovo yoga 2 here instead...
