Surface Pro 4 - Does not lock?

So I just noticed that my SP4 does not lock with the lock screen.

I have a dell laptop with windows 10 with the same settings in terms or lock screen, slide show setting at lock screen etc etc.

Both have pins.

After one minute, they both go to lock screen. When I ulock the dell, It prompts me for my pin. The surface just logs me straight in. Why?

If I lock the surface w/ windows key + l, it prompts me for the pin but why won't it prompt when it locks automatically?

Any Suggetions?

You sure it is locked and not just "screen off" or "sleep"

Probably isn't but need to know how to force it to lock when the slide show starts.

This is quite the toss up because I don't want connected standby

Guess I need to get accustom to the fact that I cannot use my sp4 the same way I would my old dell...

I need to adapt

What happens if you enable CS, change the setting to Never, then disable CS. Does the setting stick?

Also, in your power options, there is a setting for "Require a password on wakeup". I think the default for that though is Yes.

So...

I got it to do what I want.. I'm not sure it Windows 10 is bugging out or what... I enabled CS to verify what GatsbyGlen was saying and realised the setting was there. I was then just playing around with several different combinations (pictures lockscreen/ slideshow lock screen/different times) etc.

I didn't really change anything... I disabled cs again because i know it's not what i want.. Now.. When the goes to the slide show after one minute. It will prompt me for my pin...

Strange.. Very strange indeed.. :/
