Surface Pro 4/drone integration?

Hey all,

Is anybody using their surface device (book, pro, etc) for drone use? Whether live streaming camera feed or business/commercial use? I've seen some cool examples of drone applications in telecommunications and aviation industries but was wondering what other examples folks might be using their drones for, and if so, if you're integrating a Surface device?

What drone do you have? I have experience with the Parrot AR Drone 2. I had to use an iPhone to control it, using the official application, and it absolutely killed the phone battery, to the point of overheating and bricking the phone entirely. There was no real Windows apps for it either, at the time.

However, Parrot now has an official Windows app, for phone or desktop, called AR FreeFlight. It's on the Windows store. As for use for drone, where I am based, in Thailand, it's too built up to fly a drone properly and people are constantly requiring permission for you to fly your drone there. Therefore, owning a drone, can be something of a waste of money because you cannot really use it that much.
