Surface Pro 4 is havign issues with teamviewer running a DOS program.

I log into a dos program on my work computer daily. I bought a Surface Pro 4. Now when I log in using TeamViewer, the arrows and esc keys work intermittently. Esc will not always work. The tab sometimes tabs over, sometimes tabs between screens. The arrow keys sometimes work. Usually you have to get into another item on my remote computer and then go back to the DOS program to make the arrows work. Any ideas?
