Surface RT and Lumia 900

So I have my beautiful new Surface and I connect my Lumia 900 to it, it installs a driver and....nothing. Phone doesn't show up under computer nor in Pictures (when I click Import, it says no device to import). Am I missing something, or does Windows RT only support cameras to import pics from?

You need an intermediary agent (Zune) to connect the two. It's not going to see it as a separate drive, if that's what you were hoping for.

There is a separate Windows Phone Connector metro app coming, I think more info will likely be announced at Microsoft's event tomorrow. For the moment though there is no way to use a Windows Phone with an RT tablet.

A useful tip though, if you set your phone to auto-upload photos to Skydrive then you'll be able to view those photos on your Surface through the Skydrive app without the hassle of connecting USB cables.

Thanks for the reply guys. That's pretty lame though, they could have at least given us the ability to browse pictures on the phone. Oh well, the downside of being an early adopter.
