Surface/touch cover combo black only in store as well

I visited the Microsoft pop up store at my local mall today and it was staffed, to my surprise. In addition to ferrying a reservation voucher I started another thread about, I asked the guy at the suite a few questions. Namely, if i want to do one of the two combos, could i pick A color of my choice. He responded that I couldn't and combos would only be in black.

Do they have a list where these stores will be popping up at? I'd like to go to one.

You could always sell the black one online to someone who got no touchcover, and then buy a colored when they are back in stock.

Ya cause that is not a pain at all. I'd rather just get the $499 version (I'd only get 32 gig anyway) and lay down the extra $30 the red one would cost me over the bundle.

he specifically said they would have the other colors if I wanted to buy one but that the bundle was black only.
