Swipe/Tap Issues on Ativ SE?

Does the Ativ SE have swipe/tap issues like the 1520? Also, to those that may have both...what do you think causes this issue?

I'm not experiencing any major issues. Sometimes if I swipe down to view some settings, it may take 2 swipes.

Don't have any swipe issues on the SE. Once every couple days or so the touch screen stops responding but that's an 8.1 issue. Soft reset fixes it. No screen issues on my Icon at all.

No issues on mine, never had the 1520 though so don't know exactly what to look for.

I have a sm-750v and have not figured out how tap to open works, or it doesn't work. So, I have not managed to open files from URLs. I see no save as option or equivalent to right-clicking in a desktop UI. The tap to open page displays. When I tap, the same page displays again. So far I have tried this with PDFs and Excel documents.

Oops! Resetting the phone fixed this.

I don't think I had installed any apps at all, before experiencing this. So, maybe the OS was updated? I don't know.

The phone was purchased from Verizon.

After resetting the phone, when I tapped, it prompted me to download an App to view the PDF. It was an excel file from a different version of excel that I tried after resetting. So, I don't know if not prompting for an App is related to tap not working for an excel file before.
