How do I disable this nonsense that's at the top of my lock screen on my new 950XL? I can't find a setting for it anywhere.

That's the thing, the only way I can get rid of the message is to disable iris scan, but I don't want to do that. I like using the iris scan to unlock my phone. It's frustrating that I have to see that message every single time I get back into it my phone after the screen times out. It gets in the way of music controls and weather information splashed on the lock screen.

Anybody else have this problem?

I believe this appears when you set scanner to authenticate you but not unlock the phone, at least that's what I remember. I don't remember the exact settings but if you set it to unlock and dismiss the lock screen it should go away.

In my experience, that text remains there no matter what. The only way to get rid of it is to disable Iris. Which is actually a bit silly.

It'd be nice if they removed it all together.

It should be a help bubble just like the navbar where you can dismiss. You check to never show the message again and dismiss it.

Agreed. And yes the only work around I can find is not using the iris scanner.
