Switching consoles

Hi guys I'm planning to switch from ps3 to Xbox 360 but the problem is that will my GTA online save sync to Xbox because I'm really sick of the ps3 and its software it is extremely buggy

Really ? So it only syncs to next gen ? i.e 360 to ps4 and PC ?

No, its only syncs ps3 to ps4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox one. It doesn't sync to other platforms

It actually does. PS3 can transfer to PS4, and 360 can transfer to X360. It's been confirmed by Sony and Microsoft.

That's what I said. 360 to Xbox one and ps3 to ps4. But not ps3 to Xbox one or 360 to ps4.

I poster that half asleep, sorry. I meant to ALSO say that 360 can also transfer to ps4, and ps3 can also transfer to Xbox One. Sony and Microsoft both said it.

You sign in with your Rockstar account, so it doesn't matter what point A and point B are, it'll sync.

How do you do it, exactly? My brother played GTA V a lot on his PS3, and recently sold his PS3, and he's getting the game on his Xbox One. How would he get his data then?

The way that Rockstar described it is that you sign in with your Rockstar account and it'll just be there. They initially gave an example of Xbox 360 to PS4, but later clarified that it'll work everywhere. That's all I know, sorry.

Well its mostly the software and more premium services but the controller is a reason

But I switched anyway but haven't got GTA yet :/ bummer
