Switching from Release to Fast

I'm thinking of jumping from Release to Slow or Fast. Do I need go backwards at all first? Or can I go into the Insider app and just choose Fast to switch? Danke.

You can simply switch to the fast ring on the insider ring through the app. Make sure you back up first!

but your phone has to be supported. If you have the older models like 920, it won't work
