Switching to Galaxy S8 with Gear S3 watch

I am looking to trade in my Lumia 950 for a Galaxy S8 & a Gear S3 Watch since MS does not have an interest in either platform; mobile nor wearables.

Questions:

1) Will Outlook work on the S8?
2) Anybody converted with any regrets?
3) Hints, tips, & tricks to share?

Outlook is just fine but unfortunately, it doesn't connect to the calendar. You'll have to add your account as an exchange account to have that functionality.
