Hey guys,

I just got my first Windows Phone (Lumia 1020) and so far I'm thinking of switching to outlook.com with my e-mails, contacts etc. because it makes sense for me since this is the best way to sync my stuff.

I just have one problem. I have a MacBook Air and Exchange isn't supported on Macs. Is there any way I can sync my Outlook account for Office 2011 for Mac?

How do you guys do it when you have a Mac & Windows Phone? Can you recommend any solution which works best for you?

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, Outlook.com works just like Gmail and all the others. I have an iPhone and sync it with my outlook.com. So I can't see why Office for Mac wouldn't work.

I have Exchange on my Mac. I'm running 10.6.8 with no issues. Is your Exchange server running 2003 or 2007? If it's 2003, I think you're SOL.

Outlook.com has exchange for mobile only. For the desktop app only Outlook 2010 with hotmail connector And outlook 2013 work with outlook.com

iPad, android and windows phone work fine with outlook.com

outlook 2011 doesn't support outlook.com has exchange, u can set it up as a POP3 account

I'm not sure about outlook on the mac, but in Windows you can export to csv... Outlook.com people will let you import the csv file(s). There is no reliable sync for outlook to outlook.com pre Outlook 2013. ( except for the hotmail connector, which is probably windows only )
