Sync MS Office Outlook with Hotmail calendar only

Hi,

Does anybody know how do I sync the calendar from Outlook.com (Hotmail) with MS Office Outlook (desktop application) without syncing e-mails from the Hotmail account? I only want to sync the calendar with the desktop app...
I'm using an ICS file so that MS Outlook can download events from Hotmail but it's read-only, I can't add/modify events on MS Outlook...

There is the outlook calendar connector. This has instruction on how to do it. Good luck. Use an Outlook.com account in Outlook - Outlook - Office.com

I think I tried that but it also syncs e-mail and I can't turn that off... I don't want e-mail synced with my office's Outlook.
But I'll try it when I'm at work.

I have the opposite experience. I have the emails synced, and want them to be. But whenever I update either calendar in either hotmail or desktop outlook it doesn't update the other one. How is it that the emails are synced but not the calendars? Help!
