I spent a hour with then on chat yesterday they did not know there was a update until I showed them the link .
His only comment was restore your device then you may get it

Got it on my Quantum a few days ago. Now running 8773.98. Wish someone would help me get WiFi Hidden SSID support working though.

Nothing on our Quantums yet. Did you get the alert on your phone or did you just check for the update with it connected via Zune?

Just checked on Zune nothing yet and no alerts on phone this is so insane it is like AT&T forgot to but it on the server

Yup. Big Zero. Odd thing... Nokia is getting updates like crazy, so are Samsung Phones..

I'm a member of HTC Elevate as well.

I have just spoke with AT&T who in turn called Samsung support. Samsung said that the Tango update that was released on 6/27/2012 is only for Samsung Focus S and Samsung Focus Flash. There is no Tango for the first generation Samsung Focus.

That's the post by user "Longhorn", next to last at this moment.

What do you think about it? I'm not sure I believe so... Hope he's wrong.

I tried that website couple times on my Tango Lumia 900 and no crash so far. You guys can install Tango with just couple clicks.

I actually just switched to ATT from Sprint lol.

Don't get mad at updates not comming out when forums are raving about getting them. This happens with every phone. Ice Cream sandwich on Android, iOS5 on iPhone... etc. People go crazy about this stuff.

If you want to leave ATT that's fine, I just DO NOT recommened sprint. If you want to leave WP then just know that every other smartphone out there has fanboys that are crazy and impatient about getting their phone updates.

Funny I left sprint for at&t. I just think it sucks when the carrier doesn't want to give the consumer things that will make relationship better. Before my WP I had a blackberry it wasn't the best phone or the worse phone, I really love how wp are, I really hate how many times my keyboard disappears even when im just typing ok. If I don't get a WP next time I have no idea what phone is next in line for me.

Well, I just connected my Samsung Focus to my PC waiting for the same message I got every night, but not this time. There it was, a message telling me to update my phone. So I'm doing so right now

Unlocked, debranded (000-88) Samsung Focus over here in Panama.

Patience was all it took. No tricks or anything else. It's backing up right now. Hope it finishes early, I want to go to sleep.

7-23-2012 @115pm est. yes this worked for me: dont disconnect you phone till it says its done, just like if you were doing a zune update, thanks for the tip
