Text input during texting lags

I have a Focus, my girlfriend has a Surround. Mine has more added storage, her's is stock. I don't know if it just the length of the thread or what, because it seems it is only our conversation that lags or jumps around when I am trying to input text.

Any ideas?

Does it lag after you delete the message history? I'm wondering if all the text messages are hosing it up or something.

Either that or your hand is accidently hitting off the keyboard when you're typing.

EDIT: Actually the added storage could be a problem if your memory card isn't the right class...

Can't be memcard as it is doing the same thing on stock Surround as well.

Mango seemed to fix the problem...I will pop this up to the top if it ever happens again.
