text threads - suddenly 'read-only message'

I have a Lumina 735 and only today I went to reply to someone, but unable to due to the text box stating 'read-only message'. This applies to all my text threads. It seems to have linked with Skype separately, so I now have to start a new text thread with their numbers, like it used to be. Anyone have any idea how to fix it? Don't fancy having to restart all my threads.

Additionally, unlink Skype from the messaging app. Tap the ... and make sure that you are signed out.
