texting issue, cannot attach or send when keyboard open on screen

Nokia Lumia 920 with GDR2 installed

When typing in a text i can no longer send it while the keyboard is open on the screen. None of the buttons on the bottom row are recognized (send, attach, mic, ...) Presses on these buttons are not recognized until clicking outside of the textbox, causing the keyboard to collapse. At that point all on screen buttons work again.

Had the phone since 11/12 with no issues until after GDR2.

update: I installed GDR3 to see if that fixed the issue, but it did not.

Backup your phone and try a hard-reset, looks like a software issue

Tried it, and that didn't fix the problem.

any other thoughts?

Does it do this when you flip orientation around, vertical to landscape left/right, etc....

Doesn't function correctly in either orientation.

It's getting quite annoying, I may have to go to ATT

My 928 with GDR3 on Verizon does not have this issue, so it's not universal. Sorry.

Well, you're still under warranty for a few more weeks.. Try just calling in to Tech Support. They may just ship you out a replacement.
