The 1520 and quick charge 2.0

Damn I would like to test a quick charger. Seems a risky buy though, might not be supported. I have 1520 with Denim.

I can honestly say I do not believe it is risky. The only way a Quick Charge 2.0 enabled charger will actually ramp up to higher voltage and adjust the amperage is if the device "communicates" with the charger that is it QC2.0 compatible, otherwise the charger will stay in 5V mode w/ a max of 2amps. Make sense? The nice thing about the Tenergy charger I bought is that there is a visual indication of what mode it is in so I know for sure if QC2.0 is active in the phone or not.

I use my Note 4's turbo charger all the time and the difference between using the OG charger which was supplied with my 1520 and my Note4 charger is night and day

I have a nexus 6 and I use the turbo charger on my 1520 and it does charge quicker then the Nokia OEM charger, but I think quick charge 1.0 was activated on w8.1,doesn't charge as quick as my nexus 6.

I agree with Morpheus, I would like your thoughts on battery life for the 1520, as I'm currently discharging at approx 4.7% per hour... Would this seem correct with you guys?
I do as 1 percent per hour when in standby and in other conditions it depends on the usage.
WiFi and BT are off in standby periods but location is always on.

My Tenergy QC 2.0 charger indicates that my 1520 does not support QC 2.0 mode.

A quick update to this thread: Lumia Denim provided no improvements with regard to the use of QC2.0 on the Tenergy charger. It's unfortunate.
