So - I'm evaluating the options for phones to replace my iPhone 6+ - it's not really what I want and do believe I've got a faulty unit.

What's the best Windows Phone to purchase today preferably one that can be used with a single hand - if I was to buy a WP now which would you recommend? (so probably rules out the 1520/1320.)

I'd love to hear your thoughts and responses.

Here are a few assumptions before I make my recommendation:
1. Since the new Cityman and Talkman are not out yet
2. Presuming you are on AT&T or T-Mobile

you should get a Lumia 640, only 79.99 at Microsoftstore.com or Walmart for AT&T and 99.99 for T-Mobile

If you have VZW then the Lumia 735 is not a bad buy till the new devices come out and I think it is priced $192.

Otherwise just sit tight for a few more weeks.

For $80 you can't go wrong with a 640. 200 for a 735 is crazy if you ask me. This 640 is the best budget phone I've ever owned. My s5 is my daily driver because of certain apps and games but when I'm out of town on business I roll with my 640 with the orange back I got offline lol.

The cameras are better on the 735 though, even just slightly so I don't think it's that ridiculous.

As for the best:

930 outside the US, Icon on VZW inside the US. Also worth considering the HTC One M8 for WIndows.
The 830 is a fine piece of phone, but without the raw horsepower of the 930 and 1520, but that wont make a huge difference.

The 640 is currently the budget phone of choice, and is a terrific value.

Agreed but, with the new models right around the corner (new specs, worthy feature upgrades), the best bang for the buck is 930/ICON for quality of phones right now that is not too big (5" is a perfect size if you ask me). All depending on your carrier of course.

Find a used one cheaper, so when the new models hit in a month or 2 you can upgrade and if the price is right, you might be able to re-sell it paying just a minor rental fee for the time you had it (as long as you don't pay too much for it).

All the models above you might be able to save a little on a used one, this will allow you to get a New model of one of the upcoming models...

Its not the best, but i'd say 640 lte because 2 reasons:

Stupidly cheap with good specs

Im ordering one (and hopefully it comes today)

posted via bbq10, soon 2 be replaced by 640 lte (waiting for it to come in the mail)
