the end of C8 driver/firmware updates

Yes, there is a special process to revert from 1.5 to 1.4. So far I haven't heard of anyone needing to switch back to 1.4 after installing the most recent released version of 1.5. However if you need to switch back, let me know and I can send you instructions.

Hello can you send or post the instructions to revert the firmware on C8 back to 1.4.

Thanks,
Sam

C8 Hardware

Hey I just found out about the C8 discontinuation (jeeze I'm late), and I am an early adopter. If anyone still reads this particular thread, I wonder whether the onboard ROM device can be replaced to accommodate the larger firmware? Is the ROM part of a processor? Is it socketed? Is it BGA? Will the existing hardware address a larger ROM device? Let me know if you can. If it is even remotely possible to upgrade some of the hardware to make the C8 compatible with newer firmware, then I'd like to give it a try if it is technically feasible, and if successful then share my success or even offer upgrade services. Hopefully someone from Celio can respond?
Thanks!

drivers

i know that this device has been unsupported for a while now. but is there any chance someone out there still has the drivers (touch/non-touch) so i can update the C8 my work handed me to firmware version 1.5?? i'd like to use this with my work blackberry(bold 9700) when i travel if i can get it to work. i've used this device before and enjoyed being able to read articles and files that are emailed to me on it. we used to issue palm treo pros with them, but we've since changed to the blackberry. i still have access to update this devices firmware, just missing the drivers in order to do so, celio has taken down the REDFLY - Contact page. please any help would be greatful. just trying to save my organization some money if i can get these things updated.

Re: How to download a youtube video

Since they shutdown the pages and links are useless now, would anyone happen to have a backup of the Windows Mobile and BlackBerry drivers? I have been trying to find it for a while now with no luck.
