The fastest smartphone in the world?

The Snapdragon 800 and the GPU are impressive enough for a mobile processor operating off of a battery. However, the benchmarks are going to play very little into a real world experience. Additionally, the operating system is going to have a lot to do with your day to day experience. That being said, I feel that the Android devices running the same processor/GPU configuration "feel" faster to me. However, there isn't any kind of latency that I experience on this device to complain about either.

That might be because the Android devices don't have any worthwhile UI animations where as WP8 has a lot of very nice ones. But as far as overall smoothness is concerned, especially over prolonged use, I haven't used anything better than the 1520 yet.

Yes and several times, few friends have the Nexus 5 and G2. Note 3 I've spent a few hours with as well. None of them have the nice animations and overall smoothness that WP8 does, are you suggesting otherwise? Of all those Android devices, the G2 is probably the only one that comes somewhat close but only after its been rooted and worked on by the end user.

No, I'm not suggesting otherwise. I just wanted to know that when you say you haven't used anything better you've actually used the other Snapdragon 800 devices.
