The future on T-Mobile?

So I bought a replacement m8 win for T-Mobile today directly from htc.

I know htc has vowed to continue updating the device with all future updates including windows ten for two years from release in this phone.

My concern is does T-Mobile control what gets pushed out or will the update come directly from Microsoft?

I sure would love to have windows ten on the m8 but who knows now with T-Mobile controlling their updates. Especially that the phone was only available from them for about 4 months.

Any input would be great.

MS said they would control Windows 10 update timing, but I'm not sure if that includes the first/initial update from 8.1 to 10.

Either way, T-Mo is going to have some sort of say, that is for sure. the $800 question here is how much going forward. I don't know.

Didn't specify, I would be led to believe it means all devices. OEM willing that is, and HTC did say 10 will be available to the One.

So I guess once msft releases 10 then htc has to implement it then TMobile has to push it out... Yikes.
