The Newb has a question?!

I everyone thanks for letting me in I will do all I can to help.

My question is why don't we have a thank you or reputation system set up here on these forums? I know its silly but there are people out there that live for this stuff and if they cant get it here they will keep on going to the next forums to get it. Just wondering
